Our Demo Bikes

We are super excited to announce our 2025 demo fleet; after a brief hiatus, we’re back with Specialized!  Our goal partnering with a single bike company going forward is to develop more of a relationship and extending the opportunities to both of our rider bases, and ideally bringing more folks together on Specialized bikes and Chasing Epic trips… we’re excited to see where the future goes!

 

For 2025 we’ll be carrying a true trail bike, one of the most highly-acclaimed releases of the last several years: the 150f/145r Stumpjumper 15 in the Expert level trim… which means a carbon frame, SRAM GX Transmission drivetrain, Fox Performance Elite suspension, SRAM Maven brakes, PNW dropper, and Specialized Grid Trail tires.  We’re confident this is the perfect “one bike quiver” for all of our Chasing Epic trips in 2025!

Specialized Stumpjumper 15: 150F/145R Travel

The all-new Stumpy 15 was brand new this summer and was very highly-reviewed as a true trail bike that can punch above its weight when needed.  With a slack HTA and steeper STA, this bike will be the perfect choice for our Chasing Epic trips   HTA: 64.5*, STA: 77*.

  • SRAM Maven Bronze Stealth 4-piston brakes with 200/200 rotors

So… only one bike option for this year?  Well, kind of (see below).  With the new Stumpy 15, we truly believe this is the perfect “one bike quiver” for all of our Chasing Epic trips, from Fruita/Moab to Sun Valley and everything in-between.  We’ve been test riding ours for the last two months and we’ve done everything from 6k’ high country epics to riding some of the most rowdy terrain you can imagine, and the Stumpy can handle everything you can throw at it.  It climbs well, it’s efficient, it’s playful, and it crushes downhills.  Additionally, with the fully adjustable Genie rear shock and bike geometry, we can tweak the bike however you see fit (although we really like it in the “stock” configuration with the Genie and the bike set to 64.5* HTA).

 

The one exception to the above is our Whistler trip: personally we think the Stumpy 15 set with the slack (63.5*) HTA is perfect, we also know some of our clients want more travel.  So if you choose to use one of our bikes in BC, we’ll also have the option of a Transition Patrol (160/160 mullet) or the Yeti SB160 (170/170).
